Living in south London I've known and, sporadically used, for quite a few years now: it was an acceptable quality, against fake products flooding all markets, for a reasonable price. Prices keep rising, while quality remains just about acceptable, when it does: herbs that hardly smell of anything, liquorice chips that taste old and well after usability; ylang ylang oil, don't even stock the extra grade... Products are the "real thing ", just. While prices climb: the pound is what it is these days, but... I recently bought some castor oil: organic? Of course I want organic (I thought All herbs were organic, the least you'd expect from a serious herbal shop): £12.67 for a quarter litre, £50 a litre? I never knew castor oil was that expensive. And for that price, it even comes in a plastic bottle...

I’ve been purchasing my herbs from Baldwins for the last year or so. Since finding them I have never ordered elsewhere! The products are great, well packaged and I love that it’s biodegradable packaging too. I didn’t realise there was a store! Planning to visit in a couple of weeks to stock up :D I have full confidence in the quality of these products and use them for making custom tea blends for myself and others.

DO NOT buy the Bentonite clay. It is a con. I thought when I looked at it that it was rather pale in colour. Anyway it is very poor quality and you will be unsatified. It appears to be mixed with something. If I could give -5 stars I would. I have been robbed.
