Went today with 3 grandkids. Got there under 5s area closed. Got 2 year old. Told can't go in big area with her. I said OK but if I need to get her out i will be going in. She was with a 10 year old. On seeing inside the play area I was disgusted. The balls were black with dirt. Dust everywhere. Tables chairs floors never had a proper clean. Entrance gate was open so kids go run out. I noticed there was a party on but I feared for those kids attending. Won't be back.

Nice place for the kids to play although the seating and tables are rather shabby and unclean. Reasonably priced entry but £2.10 for a small Fruit Shoot is extortionate.

Kids loved it but dim lit and dirty, sticky tables and worn out. Shame as these places are loved by children.

This afternoon I was asked by my brother if I'd like to take my kids to the softplay Fuzzy Ed's inside the Harvester George Stephenson so they could play with their cousins, I'd never taken them there before but I'd been to the pub for food a couple of times and that was nice so I thought why not, however I was so very disappointed. The table we sat at had a little booth seat which was closest to the softplay area - the cushion was very stained and smelt bad but we couldn't move tables because the place was rammed, there were even a couple of ladies arguing and swearing over a table at one point. I also noticed the exit gate was left wide open with a member of staff just walking straight past it, this was eventually closed by another parent. The main issue I had though and what has made me leave this review was the state of the balls in the ball pit, they were absolutely filthy! That is the first time I'd taken my kids to a softplay and seen the balls in a ball pit look that disgusting. I don't usually leave reviews but I felt like the ball issue really needed addressing.
