So refreshing.He was extremely knowledgeable about all the products on offer giving us lots of choice. We ended up buying something different than we expected and are thrilled with our choice.     Avoid this shop at any cost. They take money but they don't deliver. I ordered over £7300 of furniture ( bed, sofa and dining chairs) in November 2022. My order number is 0391B8852. The person who dealt with the order was Shante who was friendly but as soon as a deposit was taken, there is minimal service. This shop has the worst customer service I have ever experinced in my life and I am so angry and disapointed with over promising and under delivering. Imagine my joy when I found all 3 items of furniture I was looking for in one shop (bed, sofa, dining chairs) but soon I was disappointed for waiting 6 months and still no signs of delivery except part of the dining chairs. I was told I should get all my furniture in Feb this year, ie within 12 weeks but may go into 15-17 weeks! Part of the dining chairs were delivered and then I was called in March for delivery for sofas, then a day before they called back to cancel and they said they will call back in a week to rearrange when the order is received from warehouse. 10 weeks later, I am still waiting. No one seems to have any idea what's going on. Part of my dining chairs are missing too. This shop took the joy out of our life for over 6 months for waiting for their delivery. They are quick in selling you the furnitures but they actually have no furniture to deliver to customers!!! We have been lied to about the service and I absolutely feel cheated. I am so angry with Furniture Village for treating me like this. Anywhere else people would receive refunds and compensations for being mis sold on information and for paying for items they never receive on time!

    Having purchased our goods we were promised to have our items delivered by December 2022. What ensued was nothing short of a logistical nightmare. The sheer lack of customer service only exacerbated our shoddy experience with your esteemed retailer. Almost every item on my order was delayed, with some items delayed by a significant 3 months. Communication of such delays were extremely poorly executed. Having spent numerous times trying to ascertain where my goods were, I was confronted by a lackadaisical general manager Ali whose customer service skills were as good as non-existent and who was almost always away. I have been well aware of the supply chain issues surrounding incoming furniture from within the EU into Britain but when I had learned that my items were being delivered from a warehouse in the UK I could not comprehend the appalling delays to receiving my goods! 👎

    I just wanted a bed I could sleep on! Not a friggin new relationship!! Turn the bed around every week, pull the corners every week. “Your bed is getting to know you” it says. Change our positions, regularly, lumps and dips are normal it warns. Let it breathe. Allow it months to settle as it learns us. I’m surprised it isn’t calling me up and leaving assorted texts about its well being! At £2700 it’s an expensive relationship to mess up. And the irony? Its name is Sleepeezee!!! (The team that works here are flawless, it’s what they have to work with that’s questionable. Having gone to every bed place on Purley way this was our best option.)
