LOVE this place! I’m an American “craft beer snob” and couldn’t have been happier here. “Mountains of Mars” was one of my favorite beers- EVER! Our beertenders (Ed and Amber) were knowledgeable and helpful. Pizza was great. If you’re in Newcastle- you gotta go!!

Beer is amazing and the pizzas are amazing.... However the inconsistency of the service of food is shocking. I've had enough of this place. So my friend ordered food at 1945 hrs this evening.... I walked to the bar as he walked away and asked for a pizza and was met with a rude and obnoxious reply by staff and they stated that they were not doing any more food despite what is quoted on their site.... Literally 30 seconds later than my friend. This is not the first time that the food service has struggled..... Most Fridays there is an excuse for not serving food, in fact every Friday this year there has been excuses. Don't even bother going if you think you will have a nice pint and food.... Save the effort and just go to 2 knives around the corner where there is a much better attitude to food and drink. Sorry you have lost regular customers as a result.
