Decent car park, pavillion with function rooms for hire and the rec has lots for kids to play on. Big grass area with football pitches and a small wooded area at the northern end. A (very) small area is planted as a wild flower meadow in the summer. Quite a bit of open grassy space that doesn't seem to be used for anything - shame it's not used for more wild flowers. Quite a few dogs walked here so watch where you step - the problem of irresponsible owners seems to be getting worse even though there are plenty of bins....

Nice well maintained and tidy except for occasional picknickes leaving there rubbish for others to clear up despite ample bins. The same for a few small dog owners who refuse to pick up their dogs waste Dog-friendliness: Most dog owners are friendly with the odd exception with preconceived ideas about certain breeds
