Would not let me register without photo ID, had given all other details including nhs number, old doctors, present address, receptionist said its their rule for registering new clients, it protects our clients, more like it protects their staff and stops people getting needed appointments, the nhs website says photo ID is not needed and you don't have to give it, so looks like his surgery cherry picks its clients. This has totally shut me down as need help and they're using silly rules that aren't needed to turn people away.

Booking an appointment Why can we now no longer book a G.P. appointment on line? Nurse appointments are listed, but no G.P. ones. As a person with hearing issues, who struggles with telephone conversations,I am at a loss as to how to book an appointment.Since Covid,we can no longer 'pop in' to the surgery,so the telephone appears to be my only option.I find this discriminatory against deaf and hard-of-hearing patients and cannot understand why this facility ,which I have always used previously, has been withdrawn.

I have never had a problem with surgery and think the doctors are amazing. However after phoning up today as advised by a dentist I find it shocking that the receptionist I spoke to didn’t see finding a lump was an emergency appointment until I had to point it out . Nevertheless the doctor saw me straight away and that I am thankful she was amazing. Find it shocking that after ringing up I had to explain that I thought my call was a matter of urgency and was told I should have stated that !!!! I would have thought saying I had found a lump would be urgent. Her tone was incredibly rude and dismissive which is a shame when the doctors are incredible

I had to take my Elderly parent to the surgery today for an ECG . Initially the appointment was for 14.00. The Surgery rang to rebook for 16.00 which we obliged , We had an awful day in which I had been in A and E with a torn wrist Ligament which any Doctor reading would be aware of how painful and debilitating this is . I certainly struggled to assist my normally house bound , in fact bed bound parent who cannot weight bare, ready,.She was due to have a very important procedure which was not able to be done at home, i am constantly been told by many Doctors kind Doctors from this surgery, how frail she is , so one can imagine the logistics in getting her ready , transport etc with a torn wrist ligament, We sadly due to traffic , due to my inability to rush, due to my wrist, were 15 minutes late . We were greeted with a receptionist who flatly refused this very frail elderly lady her appointment , she was cold , had trouble breathing . We were refused to speak with the nurse , we were then told she had gone on to other appointments , and then told my parents appointment was thirty minutes ,so in her final fifteen minutes others were being seen. We did not deal with things as well as we could but faced with this awful total disregard for this very frail lady who had been chewed about with to get there ,along with my excruciating pain it had been logistically a nightmare and not something I can do easily , we offered to wait , everything was refused and my poor parent who is out of breath again this evening suffers . We have a family member in medicine who said if the ECG was set up it may have only taken 15 to 20 minutes He was appalled that no allowances were made for this very poorly lady who sat with grace whilst an unhelpful receptionist decided it was not an emergency to find a solution, and myself behaved out of character as I am the one who she calls over seven days to tell me very frequently I cant breath ! How lucky we are to take breathing for granted . How many times do we graciously wait for our Doctors appointments who are often behind I could not control the transport or traffic or my wrist , could not control getting an Elderly person in a wheel chair who cannot stand with one hand ! So she suffers another week because we were 15 minutes late Breath well for all those that care for this generation who don't deserve this .If I could stay 15 minutes for an Elderly person to help them gain the treatment they need I would Have we not seen so many Covid people who cannot breath Were is your compassion We may have only taken ten minutes over and she may have been on a road to not Have to say I cant Breath . It felt very cruel and that evening she became Nausea , and felt exhausted from the outing in the cold
