Recently moved to this gym from another in the area, and it has a lot of potential. Very up to date equipment and a lot of space, good classes and also offers different spaces to play sports such as badminton and indoor football. Unfortunately in the evenings this gym becomes a play ground and social space. I’ve no objection to anyone being able to work out, and use the gym, but it is completely over run with youngsters hogging machines and sitting on their phones. You’ll ask someone how long they have left and they’ll say however long, but end up sitting there for ages speaking to a friend or scrolling through their phone. I’m sure the area is unsupervised, as people younger than 16 are using weight machines, often incorrectly. During the day however it is different, which is a real shame as not many people will have access to the gym in off peak times.

Changing facilities and indoor courts are often dirty. I appreciate the facilities are shared with a school but when you're paying to use them, you might expect some effort would be made to clear up between school and public use.

Run by kids for kids. This place has really taken a turn for the worst. The evenings are like a circus of 6th formers and riff raff having a social while hogging the equipment and the weekend mornings are like a teenage soft-play for the school kids from next door. It has become a sad place. Many of the quality customers are now going elsewhere. It’s gone seriously downhill since the pandemic.
