Great Cattery! We left our two cats with Chris for 10 days. Chris is friendly and takes her role very seriously. I would definitely recommend this cattery the cages are large and clean and I had fully confidence that my cats would be well look after.

Another lovely visit for our Burmese girls. The older two were their usual selves apparently, a bit grumpy at being left but then settling in and enjoying lots of cuddles and fuss from Chris. We were a bit concerned at how our new kitten would be on her first visit but didn't need to worry, Chris made sure she was OK and went above and beyond to keep her and the other two happy. Thanks for the messages and photos after a couple of days so that we could see everything was fine, also for waiting for them to settle before sending us anything so as not to worry us. we know from previous experience that you would call if there was anything to be concerned about. Thanks again and see you alter in the year.

Our experience with Chris from Froglands from our initial booking until we collected our cat was sadly an unpleasant one. There were several instances where Chris was abrupt, abrasive and often times just down right rude. This was the first time we have used a cattery for our cat and we dropped him off midday and the next morning I just sent a message asking if all was okay. Chris did not respond and finally at around 5pm I called to be told very abruptly that "she has no time to provide updates and these are only provided 2-3 days later and I was wasting her time". Now whilst I appreciate she may be busy I do not think this by any means is acceptable behaviour nor reasonable to expect any pet owner to wait 2-3 days for an initial update just to see if the pet is eating or just generally okay. We ultimately ended our holiday earlier to collect our cat as I just felt so uneasy with him being there. We will not be using this cattery again or recommending. In response to your reply: I believe my review is a fair and accurate reflection of my experience with your cattery. Had I or my family known the level of service you provide we would not have used your cattery which is why I believe it is important that other pet owners are aware as well. When I checked in on my cat within 24 hours a mere "He is fine and eating" would have sufficed. I did not expect nor insist on a detailed account but merely wanted to know if my cat was okay which I firmly believe is within my right and is reasonable. If you do not have the time to provide such simple updates then I really think you should consider how many cats you have in your care or your staffing options.

I feel the utmost confidence to know they will be comfortable and content for entirety of their stay. Chris really knows her stuff when it comes to cats and takes the time to get to know each and every feline guest 🐈⬛ Highly recommended!

Ernie’s second stay, 2022 Chris once again you have been nothing but amazing, this was Ernie’s second stay with you in a shorter period of time. At the time of drop it was honestly lovely to see Ernie as happy to see you as you was to see him, straight into his little apartment and up and away he went with out so much as a meow had a beautiful little message whilst Ernie was in your care, once again I have come back to a very happy, playful, confident and affectionate little kitten.. honestly meant what I said you are most definitely worth the extra travel.. Thank you once again Chris for taking such care of my little Ernie 🧡 We will see you again in 2023!

Chris, only a few short weeks ago I called you asking if you had any spaces left, just so happens you had one chalet left for my boy, we spoke down the phone you reassured me and comforted me when it come to bringing Ernie you was kind and understanding with me, even when I got upset you took the time to comfort me again. Yesterday I come to collect my little boy and I’ve never been so pleased, he was happy, purring, excited, playful everything a Happy and well looked after kitten should be. He loved spending time with his Auntie Chris just as much as you love having them all, thank you Chris once again for not only looking after Ernie but reassuring me and looking after me to. I will be seeing you again Chris alongside Ernie thank you for the bottom of my heart and his furry little paws 🐾 ❤️
