Went to a concert this evening at Delamere. Concert finished at 10.30pm but we booked taxi (in name of Sharon before you accuse me of this not being a genuine review, as you seem to frequently reply.) We booked our taxi for 11.30pm to ensure the bulk of traffic would have gone etc and were told we'd be picked up from the taxi pick up point. Taxi didn't turn up and when we rang to ask where is was we were told that they couldn't get near the taxi pick up point because it was too busy (by this time the vast majority of vehicles had gone and it was very quiet at the pick up point and on the surrounding roads.) We explained this and the person on the phone argued with my friend and insisted we walk to a "palace" place - we explained we don't know the area at all. We asked the security people who agreed there was no reason we couldn't have been collected and who told us the place they'd directed us to was at least a mile uphill. We contacted Uber and 11 mins later were on our way home. This company will leave vulnerable ladies wandering the streets rather than do their job. Do NOT use them, Uber is the answer!! We'd never used it before, but we won't hesitate in future!

Going to a concert at Delamere Forest, the driver turned up at our hotel on time and was lovely, however, he had no idea where to take us. He checked with the office with not much luck, so we just followed the “drop off” signs. When we asked where the pick up would be he checked again and we were told same as drop off point - nearly - just round the corner at Fortune Palace Chinese. This turned out to be over half a mile walk away along a dark, unlit main road. Even the security guys at the venue that District Taxis were “naughty” for telling people the pick up point was the same as drop off point.

early morning to Liverpool airport on time no problem however booked months in advance and had to wait about an hour for return. Simply not good enough- no problem with drivers but organisation extremely poor and full of excuses. Would not use them again!

Prebooked taxi for airport pick up. Taxi was nearly 2 hours late when we decided to grab black cab outside the airport (paying double). Traveling with babies and young children having to wait for taxi till nearly 2am is definitely not ideal!

Airport pickup service is awful. Booked well in advance and was left waiting at the airport at 1am with 2 children. Phoned and they said they had the job but nobody was on the way yet. Cancelled the job and got a taxi from the rank instead
