Lovely place to visit for all. Beautiful scenery. It’s a large enough area that you can do your own thing without getting in any one else’s way. There are activities to do on the lake or you can just relax on the beach bit with a good book. Drones are not allowed and their are wardens around enforcing it.

Great open water swimming location. Great views and the water warms up quickly in the sunshine as it is relatively shallow. Always a popular spot. The sandy beach is fantastic and means you can sit down after a dip and enjoy the views.

One of my favourite places, but not so friendly now you have to pay to park and can't take boats out on the water. I guess nothing lasts forever. Still a good base for a long dog walk across the heathland to the Little Pond and back.
