I’ve been to Frenchie’s twice now. Once on a Saturday evening as a couple and then a Sunday evening as a 3. Both times were really nice. Obviously, it’s in a great location but both the service and the food match. I’ve had a good variety of dishes and all have been very good, particularly the monkfish. With a bottle of wine or so and a decent spread, you’re probably looking at around £90pp but I would say it’s worth it.

My Ma and I had lunch here on a Saturday pre-theatre at midday. Weather was good so were instantly offered seating either in or outside. We opted for the latter. Excellent attention to detail as although it was bright there was still a wind so the team put heaters on and lifted the glass wind-breaks. All staff French - which I love - as miss that country. Attentive and excellent command of English. From the signature cocktail - Frenchmen in NY. Gin based… through to our oat cappuccinos, the food was first class! Although in the heart of a tourist area we could have been (well almost) in St Germain!

(Translated by Google) Small portions for what you pay. Not the most friendly staff. The taste of the food was nice, but small portions! (Original) Kleine porties voor wat je ervoor betaald. Niet het meest vriendelijke personeel. De smaak van het eten was wel lekker, maar kleine porties!

Wow, if you’re even considering this place, try it! My partner and I dropped by during lunch and was able to snag a table. This was some of the best food I have had during this visit to London. We ordered; bread, maple scone, pasta, asparagus and lamb. Damn this food was amazing, the lamb was the best I’ve ever had. Even the bread was outstanding. Decor was tasteful and pretty. I would give this restaurant an easy 5, if it weren’t for the staff, who were mainly absent and slow. Food: 5, Decor: 5, staff:3 (I count 3 as “adequate “)
