After being very unhappy with the service I received at another well known opticians I went to Freeman’s on Trafalgar rd. The staff especially , the manager were friendly and professional. Patient in helping me to find the right pair of frames that suited me. The lens are exactly what I needed. It’s so nice to be able to see properly again. I would definitely recommend them 😃

I came today for an eye test and I was really impressed with the Optican Anita Patel she was very friendly and knew what type of lenses I needed for my prescription, the person I saw for glasses was Sam and a lady with blonde hair (I think her name was Jacky) they both was so helpful with me for choosing frames style for me and its been 5 years since I bought a pair of glasses. The shop wasn't money hungry they were more interested in the customers needs and that's what I was happy with. They had alot of frames I could choose from and the knowledge from the Sam and the Blonde lady (sorry) was brilliant and they made me feel at easy. I will definitely return to this opticians as you guys are great!!! Thanks again to Anita, Sam and the Blonde lady (sorry I didn't get you name)

Would prefer to give Zero Star Rating👎🏽. Had an awful experience this afternoon at Freemans Opticians. Took my Son to collect his new glasses and check the fitting. The man on Reception told me my Son's prescription has increased alot and he described the increase on a points scale unfamiliar to me. In order to understand what this meant for my Son's eyes I asked the man exactly that. Obviously, my question had been heard by a female, middle-aged (the older end of the middle-aged bracket) member of staff with blonde hair who came to the Reception area and said impolitey and arrogantly "we've been in the optician business for years and we can't answer your question. We're not Opticians. She went on to say sarcastically "Did you see the Optician?" I explained I was in the eye testing room whilst my Son was having his eye test and then told the Optician I will wait in the Reception area to which she agreed. The man rudely said "would you leave your Son at the Doctor's on his own?" How unprofessional of him! He went on and said under 16s should not be left in the eye testing room whilst having an eye test. I explained to the man the Optician said it was okay for me to wait in the Reception area whilst she carried out the eye test. I found them both abrupt, lacking courtesy and polite customer service along with unprofessional conduct. I explained my dissatisfaction and despite being a customer for many years was not given an apology. I will NEVER return or give my custom, no thanks👎🏽 I would not recommend Freeman Opticians as the blonde member of staff in particular has always come across as racist, rude and arrogant.
