i have a family member here, the staff were rude when we came to visit and made us all feel unwelcome. that same family member has told us how poorly the residents are treated and no respect for anyone with dementia and abit of confusion, shouted at and treated like naughty children. in a post covid 19 world the hygiene is appalling the laundry room had adult soiled nappies and bedsheets left for 4 days in a bag. the stench is like a slap in the face. the bin chute area has food remnants and bin bags dumped there. the staff think its great fun to set off the fire alarm at all times of the day and scare the life out of residents. i will be trying to get my family member out of there asap. nothing good to say and the fact the staff are no longer answering the office phone while relatives and friends have no access either is truly disturbing.

Been resident here for many years, have seen many people come & go both interns of residents & staff. Lots of happy memories here as it’s my local area (lived locally previously) & worked locally too in my early years of coming here so no brainer coming here. As I say seen many changes over the years & like with any recent changes things take time to adjust, I’m just happy to be here feeling safe & well looked after so many years. Looking forward to the challenges ahead as the changes here start to take shape.
