Went to franks for the first time this weekend, the food was outstanding. I loved the whole atmosphere myself and husband had a lovely time , the staff was all very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. We shall both be back again. Lovely hidden gem restaurant

Been here a few times usually excellent. Tonight not so much, the poor waiter made a mistake with our starter and that took ages, no problem we all make mistakes but the manger/owner maybe, Frank (not sure) did not look happy. Came to our table we thought to say something but no he just put two plates down ready for the main course with such a scowl on his face. Could have said sorry for the mistake but didn’t say a word. Too bad really as we do like the place. When dealing with customers one needs to put your feelings aside especially when they’ve done nothing wrong!
