Went for a new kitchen, the salesman was brilliant, very patient, he spent time a lot of time twerking things, it was a great experience, untill the delivery, the kitchen was delivered ok, but the work top installation kit (specialised)was not in stock, said the 31st January, got a phone call now 7th February, got a phone call now the 14th, that's if it comes, the problem being, if your installer can not fit it then he has to came back, then you cancel again and rebook him, and it costs you more money, this is not acceptable, so no I would not buy from Wikes again

Ordered and paid in full for (as required), replacement bathroom, en-suite and cloakroom in December 2021. Now in January 2023, most of the work completed but still have un-useable shower as it leaks into the room below. 9 months of unfulfilled promises as to when the work would start and the disruption of making myself available only to find the work did not take place. First promised for April, finally started in September. A 3 week job took over 8 weeks as work was intermittent because the fitter was doing other jobs elsewhere. Toilets were taken out and waste pipes left exposed for 5 weeks creating a stench from the drains. At one point, after draining and refilling the CH system, it would not fire up. I asked what I should do and the fitter said(as he left ) you'd 'better get a plumber'). Received many apologies and two small 'gestures of goodwill' but nothing can compensate for the stress and disruption to my life that I have suffered this last over the last year by handing this job to Wickes.

Terrible customer service. Went all the way out (25 minute drive) for a product that was in stock (11 in stock) and when I got there I was told it was a on a high shelf by the girl on the till (who was on her phone when I approached and only put it down once I spoke). She called someone to get it down who said they can do it for the morning. I said I need it for the morning and just drove all the way... and she called the manager back who said she was too busy. Ridiculous customer service.
