Nice guy, and did a good job in framing 3 of our oil paintings however for me it’s unforgivable spending so much money and getting out paintings smelling of cigarette smoke. He was apologetic and explained that it’s his wife to smoke and she does not smoke in the workshop however the paintings came out of his house and even on his porch I could smell cigarette smoke. I would not even buy anything from gumtree or schpock unless it comes from a smoke free home; it is a shame that our expensive paintings are now embedded with the stench. I sprayed dettol on them (against his advice) as I cannot bear the smell. We will not use this guy again.
