Having worked in retail for almost 20 years, I feel the need to post my review regarding this lovely little shop. 1st of all, customer service should always be spot on in any retail job, and the owner of this store, Tracy, is perfect for the job! She is always so friendly, has a smile on her face, is incredibly helpful, looks well presented and is just an all round lovely person. The store itself has everything you could ask for! Fresh fruit and veg, drinks, food, newspapers, and it always looks clean and tidy. I highly recommend this lovely little establishment.

For the first few months of 2019 it was never possible to know with certainty whether the shop would be open. Then it was transferred to new management who were completely reliable and a joy to deal with. Now the former manager is back and we are seeing the same nonsense, with the shop sometimes open and sometimes closed. When will he realise that when people walk to the shop for their daily paper, they want certainty. They don't want to be unsure whether they will find the shop open. I have had enough and will get my paper from elsewhere until the manager who was there up to a couple of weeks ago returns.
