Taj was very good at finding me a flat and answered all my questions well, however everything else was an absolute nightmare to the point I had panic attacks due to this branch's incompetence. I love the property where I live now, however Taj promised a full professional clean and I found a bottle of wine and god-knows-how-old cheese in the fridge. The day after I was aware my partner would be moving in too, I let Taj know I wanted to be the only point of contact and to ignore correspondence that supposedly came from my partner as he was moving out of a very fractious household. When this came to a head I let Taj know I'd be having to provide my family's savings in place of my partner's family acting as a guarantor, and he expressed this was fine. I provided savings statements that acted as a guarantor, Taj left it until the day before the expiry of the pre-rental agreement to let me know they weren't accepted, leading me to having to call the guarantor company myself and their response was "oh they've been useless, we haven't received anything from them" and they accepted the statements straight away. This was after two weeks of radio silence where I emailed twice and texted Taj countless times. I told Taj and he then blamed the fact he wasn't in the office and so couldn't oversee what was going on, I asked why he didn't let me know he wasn't in the office and from that point onwards he just ignored me. Again, adore the property where I live now, the landlord is absolutely wonderful, but he expressed an interest in not "having to deal with Foxton's **** again". I will take up the same interest, and will be going through a different company altogether next time I need to find a property as Foxtons has been useless.
