Great day out for families as there is things to climb on and fave painting (extra cost) but pumpkins are heavily overpriced (especially when you have to pay entry onto the field) and it felt like a let down. Our main disappointment was that the maze was just a path you could follow through some dying crop.

Visited Foxes Farm’s pumpkin patch this year after a few years in a row and was really disappointed unfortunately. I love a pumpkin patch! Firstly I was t aware their was an entrance fee this year which totalled £25 for a family of 5, which was on top of £2 for a can of drink, £3 for a small coffee and £3-£6 per pumpkin. It felt like the fun family farm aspect had been stripped and what was left was a bit of a rip-off patch with not much to offer.

I was really disappointed, £20 for the family, very little to do apart from climb hay bales and my 5 year old had a go on a little ride along tractor. I assumed the entry included maybe 1/2 pumpkins for the kids, and was told no you pay for these on exit. I am all for supporting local, but to charge £20 for a family of 5, and then £4-6 a pumpkin was too much.

I couldn’t believe how poor this was, literally a field with some mouldy pumpkins in. £5 entry per person for what, some hay and a hula hoop. Then the audacity to charge for the pumpkins at the end. Save money and get the pumpkins from Tesco.
