Nothing was good and largely down to young inexperienced staff. They had no idea of the timing of a meal, ie pre-lunch drinks, wine with the meal etc. We arrived and had 2 x G & T's, 2 minutes later we were asked for our food order, we said we wanted 15 mins to drink our G & T's. 2 minutes later we went through the same cycle with a different person. 10 minutes later this second person came back so we asked how long the main course would take to come and we were told 20 minutes so we gave our Sunday lunch order. She went in the kitchen and brought back our lunch with in 2-3 minutes. I reminded her she said 20 minutes so she offered to take it back to keep it warm, we said no and ate it. No time for wine with the meal and as a consequence of our experience so far we declined desert and paid up and left - 30 minutes from start to finish, almost as quick as McDonalds! Your staff are in urgent need of some basic training. Parking: Plenty of availability

The restaurant wasn’t busy and I had pre booked.Given it was a Monday I expected to choose from the lunch menu as we arrived at four..This wasn’t available as a bank holiday.Not mentioned on the web site.The service was extremely slow.We had an eight year old with us,he was pretty fed up with the wait. Kid-friendliness: Given we had to wait such a long time for the food and the restaurant was very quiet, should have been something offered to keep the eight year old entertained
