Another wasted Sunday. Over 30% of cars do not have a price displayed in their screens, not even an indicative price. Is it a ploy to get prospective buyers to make conversation to sales? Prices please. Went back home and saved my money for elsewhere. Contacted by FOW who were very apologetic, so I will give them another star and try once more to find a suitable vehicle. 23/05/23 Dreadful car search. QR code in the screen for every car or price list in hand. I'm all for modern technology but this QR code idea is not as good as the price displayed on screen on every car. I spent all of 10 minutes looking and hot footed out of there most frustrated. One star removed.

1 Star too many AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! Bought a 2017 Seat Leon with fairly low miles after being assured it was in pretty decent condition they rectified a deep scratch on the rear bumper using correct repair methods and assured me the rest was mint. Now when the car was delivered it was far from what you would expect for the age, mileage and price took a while but they agreed to take the car back and do bodywork oh and fix the water leaking into the boot after 3 weeks the car was dropped off and they had done the very little leaving most deep scratches all over the car, bodged polish work marks all over again bodged touch up pen jobs. When I know for a fact they have the facility's to carry out the correct smart repairs instead they either didn't bother or did a complete half arsed job!! When I called to refused the car was told that wouldn't be possible it wasn't until after I contacted citizens advice that they agreed to a refund. After dropping the car off to them I received a call to say I wouldn't get my delivery money back so again I went to citizens advice and threatened to take them to court where they would also be liable for my taxi fare to get home, the tank of fuel wasted, 2 months tax and other fees. That scared them into agreeing on a full refund and the sales manager coming up with the absolute nonsense excuses yet he was the one who told me I couldn't get my delivery money back! I cannot believe the standards of this place they clearly don't quality control their cars and their customer service is absolutely shocking your general manager talks down to people and trys to belittle you he needs a serious reality check! May I also add the next day the car was listed back up for sale for £700 more its not even worth what I paid due to the state of it. Now taken my money elsewhere to a main dealer and received an excellent service!

FOW Trafford are the polar opposite of the site at Winsford, whom we were very happy previous customers of, and had returned to buy our next car. At first the salesman flapped for about 20mins+ unable to locate the car? He didn’t even know what colour it was!! Despite that it was the only one of it’s kind in stock, and had been transferred over from Winsford for us, as our toddler is not good on long journeys. The General Manager eventually located it but the keys were still missing! Another 10mins the spare key was found and we managed to view the car. -Great start! The salesman (Justin James- who has been mentioned by a number of other negative reviews) is a crook, he valued our part-ex car at £8K even though FOW have the same cars in stock at £15K and £17K with higher mileage and lower spec! To put this in perspective WBAC and Motorway offered us £12.5K!!! The salesman was not bothered that we were not only upset but insulted and confused by the quote, so we walked out! Altogether a pretty poor customer experience which statistically we as customers will tell more of our family and friends about the dreadful experience at FOW Trafford than our perfect experience at FOW Winsford 2yrs earlier!

Bought a Mercedes from FOW Trafford, after a few weeks it had a problem with a brake assist sensor. I can’t fault aftersales, they put a lot of effort into finding the problem and resolving it, Ken Ishi in particular kept me updated throughout and made me feel like he genuinely wanted to help solve the problem. Thanks to Ken my car is fixed and I will definitely recommend FOW.
