Tried to book a spa here for my birthday. Called them and asked can I get pictures, or virtual tour or a tour to see how spa looks like. I have repeated several times explaining that it’s my birthday and I just want to make sure that spa area looks nice enough. The receptionist didn’t help at all and just said: there is a picture on our website. I said yeah I’m looking into it and that’s only one small picture, can I get some kind of tour please. The receptionist didn’t help again and just said “bye”. I said “that’s not helpful” and she repeated “bye” and hanged up. I didn’t expect this level of service and that’s upsetting because even when spa is actually good I’m not going to book it after this kind of service.

My favourite hotel brand in the world. This is a landmark in London and it’s well located. Luxury at its best. If I have to be picky , I would say it’s lacking the Four season’s special touch on toiletries and personal service we normally get but still extraordinary.

One of the worst afternoon teas I have ever had at a high end hotel. The sandwiches were wonky, the service was unrefined, the musical performance was underwhelming, you can only have one pot of tea (sorry you can ask for a top up of hot water only), and the scones were below average. Spend your money elsewhere!

We recently stayed at the property for a long weekend (4 nights) with a toddler. We could not have been happier with the mindful service here that made traveling with a three-year-old easy. The room is generously sized (by London standard) and they prepared everything we asked for (and much more) for the little one before our arrival. The location is very good (2 min walk to the Tower Hill station) and the traffic is not too busy in front of the hotel. There is a small pool in the spa and has adult-only hours. We were able to make the schedule work and the little one enjoyed the pool. In room dining has a good kids menu with many options. Would recommend this place for any family traveling with young kids. Walkability: Two-min walk to Tower Hill metro station. Great location.
