Since my dad came to fountain lodge about 14 weeks ago I cannot say how amazing the whole of the team have been been. Every member of the team have treated not just our dad but our whole family with kindness, dignity and respect. Dean the manager, leads by example, always hands on nothing ever being too much trouble. I cannot say how grateful we all are and thank Dean and his wonderful team from the bottom our hearts.

Our beautiful Dad came into Fountain Lodge Care home 14 weeks ago. The staff are friendly, caring and treat all the residents with dignity and respect. Dean the care manager goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly within the care home and his Nursing skills and coordination with the staff is amazing. Our Dad calls everyone at Fountain Lodge his friends and is very happy there. Big thanks to all the staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Fountain Lodge to friends and family.

The care home is such a lovely place the main thing is that my dad is really happy there, with the staff and the residents it is like just a big family, the staff are so amazing they do there job from the heart really can't thank them enough, i do know why the care home is running so good is down to the manager Dean he is always happy chatting to all the nothing is a problem definitely 5 stars

Really disappointing. Recently visited with regards to a family member potentially joining the home. We were welcomed by a grumpy looking gentlemen who literally said the words "erm okay?" when we walked through the door. He then passed the job to another colleague and walked off with no further achknowledgement. There was a strong smell of urine throughout the entire building and that was with all windows open! If you are reading this and consider bringing a loved one, please ensure you look elsewhere first if you want the best care for them.

Shocked! I went in on the off chance to view the care home for a family member. Not welcoming or inviting at all, it was a case of 'do you want to show them round or shall?' - 'you can'. I wasn't asked any questions about the family member and their situation. Had a limited tour. I was told it was being refurbished, which may be the case but it smelt of urine and looked scruffy all over. I was told hardly anything about the care they offer, the staff seemed totally uninterested from start to finish. When it was explained my family member has had a stoke the response was 'bless'. No professionalism. I don't feel she was in the right job. Was quickly shown to the door. Couldn't believe it in comparison to other local care homes. Avoid!
