I stayed in Fossbank guest house for 5days. Kevin and Val were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. A good hearty breakfast, beautifully presented. Accommodation was very warm. Spacious en-suite bedroom. 10 minute walk into the town centre. Ideal location for all amenities. I will be back.

We had a lovely, and far too short, stay at the Foss Bank guest house. The room was bigger than I’d imagined, the bed was super comfortable and it was very well appointed. It was a quick 10min walk into the town centre, and Kevin and Val were very helpful with suggestions of where to dine. We’d love to return and spend more time in York, and we would definitely stay here again.

A perfect Victorian guest house, spotlessly clean & beautifully presented. Excellent hosts. I had Room 1 at the front, there is some road noise until later in the evening. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Beautiful artwork around the house & rooms. A 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre of York. Parking available if prebooked. There are steps up at the front & the back.
