Nice and easy to get to big car park lots of spaces. Not for high cars or vans just got to keep left or end up in Sainsbury’s car park. The prices have gone up it’s now £2 an hour still not too bad.

Parked here twice, on Saturday afternoon and on Tuesday afternoon. Both times no problem finding a spot. Some of the machines only accept cash or app payment (although we weren't able to pay through the app as it is "not supported for users outside UK" and we were travelling from EU). But one of the machines also accepted card payment, so it was ok.

Dingy underground parking at £1.47 per hour as of 02/03/2023 and there is no other option or reduced rate. If you're planning to park here all day and walk around York, it may be cheaper to park anywhere in the middle of town and get a parking ticket. Being underground, it's naturally used as a public urinal and smells accordingly.
