  Simply excellent in every way, Fortuna came to the rescue after being spectacularly let down by another installer. Within 7 days of initial contact the my solar and battery system was up and running! I received a call from Luis at Fortuna world on the Friday to confirm my order and to check everything I wanted, I even added more panels to the system which they were very accommodating. They rang me back to confirm everything was in order and when the team would be with me. They followed it up with a confirmation email. On the Monday the scaffolders came who were excellent, even put the kit up in heavy rain! Tuesday the roofing team came, can’t remember their names but were super friendly and couldn’t do enough. On Thursday and Friday, the electricians were here to wire up everything, Michael the electrician even stayed late on Friday afternoon to commission the system and explained everything. They were very friendly and the system was fitted in a really neat and tidy way, they even asked small details like what colour conduit I would like inside and outside the house! The following week I noticed some of the panels were low compared to the others, so I contacted Luis and he sent the roofing team out the very next day and it was sorted within an hour! So, over all super impressed with all of the work and the team effort, Luis from Fortuna was superb, I can’t remember the names of all of the team but a big well done to you guys, saving me money already on my bills. Excellent Work!

  I wouldn’t even rate them half a star. Terrible company who layed a driveway for my elderly parents which didn’t even last a year it cracked and crumbled and needed re doing. When they eventually came which took months they stripped away the cracked driveway which has now left my parents driveway in a terrible state which I worry they will trip on. A year later and they still have not been back to replaced it!! This has been on going for 2 years and no sign of a refund or a new drive. For my parent when they paid thousands. Absolutely disgraceful customer care/service Fortuna you should be ashamed of yourselves. We will be taking this further!!

  Our initial experience with Fortuna World left us frustrated due to long timescales and lack of communication. However, Fortuna World had taken the time to acknowledge my review and reached our directly to me seeking further information to understand my experience, where it fell short and how they rectify any of the issues raised. I very much appreciate the time and effort on their part in contacting me and it did feel like the matter was being taken seriously. Amending my review, I will say the above and beyond nature of their resolution is admirable and certainly shows this Family run business does in fact care about their customers. In summary, the Salesman was very informative and charming. The installers were professional and we now have Solar power which was the ultimate goal in our interaction with Fortuna World.

  AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! We had new window and loft insulation installed by this cowboy company. Firstly what they fail to tell you is that once you have the spray foam insulation in your loft no mortgage company will touch your home, we had to pay a further £2000 having the stuff removed so that we could sell the house. How they can legally sell you this rubbish I don’t know. Secondly we had windows installed, not only did they damage nearly all of the windowsill covers when installing the windows they also cracked the outside pane in the bathroom. After many phone calls and empty promises we were still left with a cracked window and no responses to our emails or calls. Waste of space company, how they still get any business baffles me.

  Would not even consider using this company after salesman with leaflets knocking on doors absolutely blind drunk and clearly not happy when I refused to let him make an appointment to give me a quote, then a bit later giving me abuse for where I had stopped my car! Not a great advertisement for the company.

  Desite the initial one star rating, within an hour of posting Fortuna have responded, coming out tomorrow. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Windows fitted in the pooring rain causing lounge floor to be replaced.Repeated requests for new letter box as provided one has warped.Covering on front bay window is lifting and despite being reported face to face with a member of staff ,no one has visited.Very very disappointed with after care.

  Fortuna were not truthful with what they submitted to building control, they were going to go ahead with part of a build without it being signed off. Communication is terrible, no one ever contacted us with an update, we always had to contact them, we had letters for other customers and even a phone call to ask how we are liking our new conservatory despite it not even being started! Took well over a month to get our deposit back, no apology. We are so pleased we cancelled as i would hate to think of the problems we would of had if we had continued.
