Took my cocker spaniel Winnie for her first session with Gary today and I’ve come away more motivated than ever. We covered a lot in the session and I can’t wait to put this into practise with Winnie before our next visit. I’ve come away feeling extremely proud of the work I have put in before hand and I now have the belief after my session that I will be a competent handler in the field going forwards with help of Gary. My advice is if there is anything you are unsure of when training your gundog that you shouldn’t hesitate in getting in touch with fortiscorde gundog training and getting the same expert advice I received today. Fantastic session. Took my 8 month old Sprocker for her first session. Gary was brilliant with both my dog and myself! Not only did Gary make it look simple but made it easy to understand with regards to the techniques used. Clear explanation of not only "this is what we do" but more importantly clear explanation of "this is why we do it". Have another two sessions booked and can't wait. Can't rate highly enough!!!

Had my first, and hopefully not last, 1-2-1 training session with Gary today. My 8 month old, sassy working cocker spaniel pulls terribly on the lead and is as impatient as they come. What Gary says makes sense. He is professional, calm and instantly puts you at your ease. It’s not rocket science, just damn good teaching and knowledge of the breed and dogs in general. I’ve come away wanting to practise everything straight away. Till next time!
