    Got a letter to make an appointment post having bloods done I’ve been trying to make an appointment for 3weeks now calling every morning at 8.30am to be told every morning it’s not an emergency no appointments it’s soul destroying no one will tell me why I have to make the appointment just that it’s not important so it’s not priority even though they sent the letter to make the appointment to me . It used to be a fantastic gp surgery it’s been run into the ground with no empathy or care just rudeness and abruptness whenever you call

    I have been a patient at both Alloa initially and currently Bannockburn since August 2022. They have consistently given them enough notice to get my prescription together and they constantly messed it up. My meds are for anxiety and stress and they constantly add to this condition. Alloa - Prescription refused because someone questioned where I got my last meds from while I was in Denny. I had to take a picture of my meds box with a label to prove this to them. They subsequently said someone had read my notes wrong! Prescription then final sent to Lloyd Pharmacy Alloa. Reordered via the app went into Lloyds Alloa 5-6 days later - not received. They had it at reception as they thought I would pick it up - why did they send it to the pharmacy the last time and not this time? Bannockburn - given weeks notice several times. Phoned up to check at pharmacy Lloyds Bannockburn not there. Second time handed in to local pharmacy in bannockburn. Sent the Prescription to Lloyds. Went into Lloyds to pick up and only just received it. Had to wait there and then for something that was requested a week before. Surgery said updated to Bannockburn Pharmacy going forward wouldn't happen again. Due to my experiences, I found an app Healthera that would allow delivery to my door which I hoped would make things better -not so! Order via the app on 2nd April. Acknowledged on the 3rd April but up until Good Friday nothing. Messaged Cambusbarron Pharmacy via the app on Friday, they responded today and didn't have it and suggested phoning Bannockburn Pharmacy who didn't have it either. Phoned the Surgery in Bannockburn and advised it had been sent to Lloyds Bannockburn. The person I spoke to fobbed me off with excuses: we are only human, new people, only made the mistake once. Twice actually from the same surgery. Asked for details of Practice Manager to raise a complaint and was dissuaded from doing so , see fobbing off comments. Phoned Lloyds Bannockburn to be informed that they had only just received it from the surgery TODAY and that I should wait until after 16:00 Hrs before coming to collect. Everyone makes mistakes but these are a catalogue of mistakes that I am sure other people are experiencing too.

    The worst practice ever there are no appointments or doctors they are simply a clinic making money and changing their name its so the worst bad so very glad nhs services understand number 32 in the queue is constant that's why they change their name only brokers of health to refer you its sad

    A few of the staff are great (Dr Buckley is brilliant), however the majority are inadequate and unprofessional. No continuity of care. This was a great practice prior to the restructuring, most of the fantastic gp’s and nurses moved on immediately. This practice is constantly making dangerous mistakes either by actions or omissions. I have over 30 years experience in the nhs and have never seen poor performance as in this practice. There is nothing holistic about their model of care, bitterly disappointed. They should be examined by the care quality commissioners urgently.

    Absolutely shocking called once a few month ago and was told that me not being able to breathe properly was not an emergency and there was nothing they could do, which I don’t think is for a receptionist to decide considering they are not a qualified doctor. I have called 3 times today as in excruciating pain and was told they had no appointments at 9:30am and I was to wait till 6 pm to go to out of hours. Update - This practice is absolutely useless. I called over the phone to get my prescription which was all fine and I was told to go to the pharmacy the following day so I went, They hadn’t received any prescription for me at all and told me to call the doctors so I did and they told me to go in the next day to collect it. I went the next day and there was still no prescription for me so long story short three weeks later I still don’t have my regular daily medication which I have now had to come of due to being off it for three weeks cold turkey…. This practice has no time or effort for anyone.

    At 10 am, I was still in position 32nd in a queue. Service is totally ineffective. Update do I was waiting for my phone to be answered for almost 5 hours. The number of people in the queue was slowly going down. From time to time I was calling them from a different phone just to check the length of a queue. A some point I have discovered that though I am 6th in a queue - the practice is closed for the afternoon. I am worried that it means there is a fake queue system - and has nothing to do with how quickly receptionists answer theirs phones.
