What a lovely time we had with Ian! Very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Scotland ! We were very lucky to approach the seals so up close, and Ian was very good at managing expectations about it. He had no qualms talking about positive and more tricky aspects of economy around the Loch. I will absolutely recommend to any of my friends and you as well !

My family and I loved this boat tour. My husband and I were travelling with our son and his wife and our grandkids, ages 7 and 5. Ian, the pilot/tour guide, can read a room. We got just the right mix of his evidently deep local knowledge of history and nature, and silly fun, like driving the boat in fast circles and letting the kids take a turn at piloting. We got a good look at the seals, and learned a bunch of interesting things about them. We also saw harbor porpoises, small cetaceans I did not even know existed until then! I would recommend this tour to any family. Or anyone at all.
