Brilliant cycling club, inclusive, open minded, fun loving but seriously obsessed with putting the miles in on the road and gravel. Some seriously fast and more leisurely groups cater for every level, from beginner to race snake. Loads of socials (the post-ride pub trip is always well attended), loads of organised trips both at home and abroad and kit to die for :-)

Friendly and well organised. I was looking for a local club after riding mostly solo for years. I was after a club where I could further challenge myself and share the work. Recommend it.

A few years ago I came 5th through the arch in Wells on a longer ride. With all the hard work I have put in with the club I reckon I could scrape a 4th now. Coffee, cake, 3 course meals, unnecessary road sign sprints, “I’m sure my brakes are rubbing”, catatonic changing of tubeless tyres on a ride, bonking, wheelsucking, arm-flicking, climbing too fast, climbing too slow - it has everything covered. Best club kit in the UK. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Declaring an interest, I'm a member of the club committee and a regular rider and it's been set up to be fun, inclusive, democratic and social. If you want fast, or steady, planned trips or occasional spins, there's a Forge ride for you.
