This is not deserving of even one star, I have no way of assessing the level of medical service as I have not been able to make an appointment. It is unbelievable that this practice is allowed to get with away with its complete lack of service. It is impossible to get through at 8:30am which seems to be the only time that one can make an appointment and one cannot even queue as the system is designed to cut callers off. If one tries to call any other time the phone is answered by one of the rude, obstructive, uncaring receptionists who provide nothing other than despair. This practice is not fit for purpose and has been seriously downgraded since it was taken over by Forge Health.

I called 23 times between 8:30am and 9am on 17/05/23 whilst suffering with a Migraine before finally getting through, as caller number 28. Id normally be at work for 8am. How would i have been able to do this if not for sickness. This GP is honestly rediculous.

Disgusting service, been a patient at this surgery for 33 years, the last 5 years the care has been disgusting, ring at 8.30 get through and there's no places left, can't even speak to a Dr. They tell you to go to A&E are walk in, why should you when your registered at a surgery, want to change surgery but scared of getting worse, but honestly don't think I can

15,300 patients are registered at this surgery! Yes incredible, but true. My question to Forge Health is why? How can it be humanly possible for you as a surgery to take proper medical care of such a vast amount of patients? The sensible answer is simply this, you can't. So why has the surgery taken on so many patients in the first place? I'm in my seventh decade, nearly my eighth and I've never been so concerned and worried about a Surgery ever before. The staff appear to be in permanent 'denial mode.'In all honesty, I expect it's the only way they can come in each day and attempt to do the job. In my own experience it's nigh on impossible to get an appointment, either on the phone, online, or in person. I tried to get an urgent repeat prescription on Tuesday, that was four days ago.I was refused and told that I would need to have app't with a doctor to get on-going urgent medication. That's when that 'Old, preverbrial, chestnut' raised it's head once again .... And it goes like this: "But we don't have any appointments at Pitsmoor Surgery" ! Ahhggggg...... So where and when do I go to get a prescription? Answer: "You go across the city to another surgery in four days time (that's today) and you will get to speak to a doctor". 'Shocking and frightening', the only two words that I can find to use to describe the way this Surgery does things. I've had no medication for four days and nobody cares. Surely an investigation is way overdue and needs to be instigated asap. We need to know why, we the long suffering patients, are having to endure this terrible service from Pitsmoor Surgery.

Used to be great with ask my gp they decided to go back to calling system sometimes you are number 40 in the queue it’s impossible to get an appointment. Disappointing

Absolutely appalling level of service. Its harder to win the lottery than call at 8:30 and simply get in the queue, normally you're disconnected from the call because the queue is full. Theres no ability to get a routine appointment so even if you want something as simple as a referral you have to ensure you're up and ready every single day to call the moment it turns 8:30. And when you do manage to get an appointment, they are dismissive of you're issues telling you they will go away within a couple of months and any further enquiry s or requests would be a waste of time. How do you know? You've not seen me in person, you haven't looked at my medical history, you barely even know why im calling.
