I’ve heard good reports about Broughty Ferry, Forgans so we went to try it out today. Not a great experience unfortunately. Highlighted rotten Potatoe (staff said it was bruised!) and although we turned down a replacement meal the staff left the offending Potatoe on the table! We waited an age to be seated in first place even though it didn’t look particularly busy and I’ve yet to see at least one member of staff smile. Maybe an off day for them but not a good experience…

Always liked atmosphere at Forgan's and staff there was always brilliant. Food is hit or miss. At my last visit got not pleasantly surprised when told that food won't be served to us because kitchen is busy! It's a freaking restaurant, kitchen should be busy!! Usually if kitchen is busy, you're advised that there will be some waiting but no, not this time. Only people that booked a table will be served. Funny thing is that restaurant didn't looked busy at all. Felt discriminated to say at least. Definitely there won't be any company's night outs or Christmas parties anymore at Forgan's.
