Hello . I have recently attended the spa break at forest pines . My package included spa facilities, 25min treatment, £28pp dinner credit , breakfast and a 1 night . Unfortunately I am not happy at all with the service I received while staying here . It was appalling . First off we arrive and check in the at the desk . Our room wasn’t ready until 3pm which is fine . I then ask about the spa and our treatments . They looked at me blankly and said yes there at 1:30 . I then had to ask where the spa facilités were and was give vague directions. After using the facilites and treats ment it was 3pm so we decided to go back to the front desk and check in . When I asked about our room , again they looked at me blankly and said let me check if it’s ready . The lady then proceeded to go to her other collègue who was on the phone to ask . There was back and forth between the two as to whether which room was available to me . She then comes back and process to ask me to fill out a form . I then ask about the beers that I asked to be put in the room . Again I was looked at blankly . She then walks off without saying anything and asks someone about this . I was also then told I had to pay £195 which I then told them it’s was booked through Wowcher which they never knew . We then had to wait for a card machine to pay for the beers . £50 payment was taken out of our account as a pending transaction which we also wasn’t told about . We then arrive at the restaurant for dinner at6:30 . We were seated at our table and wasn’t given a drinks menu . We waited 20 minutes to be served for drinks . As I had a voucher for 2 drinks that were included in the package I asked I could use them . The waitress then looked at me blankly again and said yes . She asked me if I wanted a single or double of vodka . I asked if the double was included in my free drink voucher and she responded with I’m not sure . There was no other to go and check or ask any one instead she just stood there which I found very unhelpful and quite rude . The steak came out and I was very underwhelmed. It was an average steak and the chips weren’t cooked properly . The peppercorn sauce was gloopy and two thick . Considering this was £32 for each steak I was not impressed at all . The waitress then got our bill wrong twice . This then put us off having breakfast here the following morning . Overall my experience here was not at all good . Very inefficient.
