I got in touch with Forest Digital as they were the only fabric printer to stock a specific Silk Tencel Satin fabric base I wanted and to say the experience has been disappointing is an understatement. Their customer service is erratic and their communication chaotic. There were issues with the fabric I wanted that were beyond their control which resulted in them printing my order onto a completely different fabric WITHOUT GETTING MY APPROVAL. I wasn't even informed that the original fabric wasn't going to be available for another 4 weeks despite them promoting a 1 week turnaround on their website. I run a small interior and textiles business and have tested printing with several of the UK's major fabric printers. Forest Digital's printing came out completely differently to other printers - more lurid, over saturated, as if someone had covered my designs with highlighter pens. A real shame, I had heard good things about them from friends in the same industry as me.

Phoned up to make an enquiry, was completely put off by how rude the gentleman on the phone was, as if I was bothering him. When I told him I'd like to make an enquiry his response was "mm" pretty much followed by go and look on the website. Which I had by the way but I was struggling and just wanted a little bit of assistance. I honestly just wanted to end the call at that point. Probably should've read the reviews before getting in contact. A shame really.
