Beautiful Town Hall but staffed by possibly the rudest volunteer I have ever met (8/9/2019). We got married here in June with the lovely Mel organising our event and I popped my head in today to be met with a large grumpy old lady demanding £2 as soon as I came up the stairs.

A MUST BEAUTIFUL LITTLE VILLAGE,WITH THE RIVE STOUR RUNNING THROGH.CANOE BOATS TO HIRE.Desicated places to swim.lovely polite people ..The town hall is very much original with a docking chair.The old church quaint as it is but desperately needs attention,like so the ground.... a .car park .opp the fordwich arms where you can get your evening meal.soaking in The Fordwich air.Only one shop opp the sturdy station.I always found the staff helpfull and polite.lovely places to walk your dog's.A miniature railway in the summer,surrounded by green well maintained fields. beautifull
