I’ve had a terrible chest for over 6 weeks, went to ask the receptionist if I could make an appointment, had a call back that day, doctor phoned, he made me a face to face appointment for the next day, saw a lovely lady doctor, who listened to my chest, heard slight crackling, so gave me some antibiotics, and booked me an X-ray, and believe it or not, by 4 pm today I had an X-ray at Fordingbridge, which took 8 minutes, what can I say about that, absolutely excellent, thank you to both doctors involved

Dec 22 Family member called with an urgent medical issue, not deemed worthy of a call back from a Dr. Promised a call from the pharmacy, didn't happen. Again. Previous review 22 Writing on behalf of an exhausted relative who doesn't have the strength to complain again. Continually poor service, easy to blame covid but when will the rot stop?! A two day wait for a call to speak to someone who isn't a doctor to make an appointment for a weeks time... at least someone did ring back this time... they didn't ring at all last time. It is no wonder people are clogging up A&E when this is the service they receive. Not a one off.

It is harder to see your doctor now and the computer link a bit long winded. But tonight at just before 6pm I had a serious need to speak to a doctor. I spoke to the receptionist, who said she would put me on the emergency list. Within a few minutes a doctor phoned me, a course of action sorted. Yes things aren't as they were (but many things aren't now), but I was helped quickly when I needed them - so thank you.
