FAQ
What is your process for creating sculptures?
At for Mary Wollstonecraft, our process for creating sculptures starts with research and conceptualizing the design. We then create a small model or maquette of the sculpture before moving on to sculpting the final piece. We pay close attention to detail and ensure that the sculpture is an accurate representation of the subject. We also work closely with the client throughout the process to ensure their vision is realized. Can you provide examples of your previous works and their respective prices?
Yes, we can provide examples of our previous works and their prices upon request. Our prices vary depending on the size and complexity of the sculpture. We also offer limited edition sculptures for sale.Do you offer custom sculptures? If so, what is the process and cost?
Yes, we offer custom sculptures. The process for creating a custom sculpture starts with discussing the client's vision and needs. We then provide a quote and timeline for the project. Once approved, we begin the design and sculpting process. The cost of a custom sculpture varies depending on the size, complexity, and materials used. What materials do you typically work with, and are there any limitations on what you can create?
At for Mary Wollstonecraft, we typically work with materials such as clay, wax, and bronze. However, we are not limited to these materials and can work with others upon request. The only limitations on what we can create are those imposed by the laws of physics and the capabilities of the materials. What is your timeline for completing a sculpture, and how do you ensure quality throughout the process?
The timeline for completing a sculpture varies depending on the size and complexity of the piece. We provide a timeline for each project based on the client's needs and our availability. Underwhelmingly small, weird. A better memorial is the full size stencil on the Newington Green Meeting House across the road.

A fine, thoughtful commemorative statue that, while small in scale, works well in the context of its setting.

A disappointment in what it should represent. Nevertheless a beautiful sculpture if we ignore the subject.

Beautifully realised sculpture of Mary Wollstonecraft but she is very tiny in actuality. Easily the smallest public sculpture I have seen thus far.

Love it or hate it, it most definitely has been a talking point since it was installed. That in itself is a great thing.

I feel the graffiti and defacement is actually an improvement on this hideous, virtue-signalling, pompous piece of sculpture. Anyway, it's all totally and satisfyingly hilarious to those of us who are fed up with being spoon-fed this woke narrative. In fact, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (She was very proud of her husband and of her married name) was very much an individualist and a supporter of women's rights, but she was not a feminist. Feminism is a Marxist term based on class-struggle arguments for a paternalistic state that Mary Shelley did not support. I very much doubt if Mary herself would approve at all of how she's being used after her demise as a tool for the politically correct, guilt-ridden white middle-class who now increasingly inhabit Newington Green simply to cash in on gentrification and gain house price wealth that they can eventually move away and buy a stone cottage in the Cotswolds away from the multi-culty metropolis that London has become.
