My daughter has been here for just over 2 years and son has recently started. The room staff and the back end staff are amazing and really enjoy their job. They have been great at catering for our children's needs and do lots of varied fun activities with the children. Our daughter, once she was settled in, she has never had issues to heading to nursery in the mornings and is looking for her day there with her friends and team staff team.

As first time parents who just moved to Macclesfield, with a 6 months old baby, we were worried about going back to work full-time. The team in their baby room are angels. They take care of the little ones so well. Management also keep parents updated with new events, especially when kids are sick. I will encourage parents to explore Footprints. Parents should also try and be considerate, if they have an unwell child, they shouldn't bring them to nursery to minimise exposure to other children and the carers.

My little boy has been at footprints since he was 8 months old. I can’t recommend them highly enough. My little boy has a rare form of development delays. They have supported us as a family and have helped him with all his extra needs including Physio & speech therapy. Amy, Tori and The staff are amazing and treat my little man like he is a celebrity everyone knows him including the cook and the cleaner and they always have time to give him a big hug when he asks them for one. He just adores them and I feel they adore him too. Even when we walk through Macc they say hi to him. In short we love footprints and would recommend it to anyone who asks us

Our son is 2.5 and has been attending since he was 1. He was born during the pandemic and therefore there were a lot of adjustments to be made for us all when he first started nursery, having never socialised with anyone else. The staff at Footprints couldn't have been more caring, compassionate and professional if they tried. Our son so quickly and easily settled into life at footprints and continues to thoroughly enjoy his time there. His key worker is like a part of our family - when our son talks about people he loves or who make him happy, his key worker is always one of those mentioned. We are expecting baby number 2 and nursery have been really involving our son with visiting the baby room, talking to him about having a sibling and doing activities and reading books around the topic too. He is soon due to change rooms to the next room up and the transition has been really well managed with multiple visits extending in time and building in activities (eg just a little play and then play and lunch time). Having now read previous negative reviews (all over 5 years old) regarding security, I can only say that there are multiple aspects for ensuring safety of the children (fob key, gates, passwords for adults who dont usually do pick up) and I feel incredibly confident in saying I have no concerns about my childs safety whilst at nursery. Everyone comments on how sociable and confident our son is and nursery has a lot to do with this. We couldn't recommend Footprints enough.

We had a walk around visit, the place looked fantastic and staff we met and spoke to were lovely (very reassuring). We agreed for my son to start here and they offered us a place. All we had to do was email admin/accounts and get the information to pay the deposit. We have sent numerous emails along with follow up phone calls. It’s been over 2 weeks now with no response. We have had no choice but to start him elsewhere. Very disappointed

Having read the previous review, I felt it only fair to give a counter opinion. My daughter has been attending the babies room from an early age and the staff are exceptional. Her key worker, listens to our requests and does her best to include what we ask into her daily routine, i.e. supporting our baby led weening, to changing sleep routines. Footprints have been exceptionally flexible and have both increased and reduced Poppy's sessions when requested following changes to working patterns, and requirements, and have even gone the extra mile when we moved home. Having been sending our daughter to Footprints for over a year now I can honestly say I have never seen a child attending Footprints near the external gates (other than leaving with their parent) or indeed playing unsupervised in the playground, security is exceptional. Indeed a friend of ours picking up our child was stopped and questioned why they were leaving with our child, they had the required password and Footprints had been contacted to advise who they were being picked up by, that to me is quite reassuring. Living very close by I see staff walking past daily with the children and are always interacting with them, and whilst they may not have fancy carriages to transport the babies and children into town, it's nice to see them use the pavement, and engaging with the children rather than each other and their mobile phones. All the staff I have come across engage with our daughter and in deed when we bump into them in town on the weekend will always say hello. The staff seem to truly enjoy what they do. Of all the nurseries my wife and I visited Footprints, we felt, was best for our daughter. She is about to move up into the toddlers now, is happier than ever, and is developing at a rate we are happy with. We'll miss the nice comments Poppy has on her daily report from her current key worker, but are sure we'll get some more nice comments from her new one. I couldn’t recommend Footprints more, and any more children we may have will more than likely attend Footprints as well.
