My partner went to exchange an item because he was told he is only allowed to exchange, no refunds. Questionable consumer rights…Anyways. He went to refund a Samsung pad case for iPad mini case case to which there was no label price for the product. The store manager then said it’s £15. It’s the same as the rest. But two of them also had no price labels. We then took the word from them and when we walked out I asked him to check inside for the price and it said £10. We took it back and said it costs £10 there is a label on there. They proceeded to then say no it’s £15 Look at the way it’s written…it’s wrongly written that’s all. Erm. Excuse me? When we argued the fact that it’s tenner he then said we can choose an item for £5. When my partner chose a charger from the glass table. The manager took the charger out for him and slammed it hard onto the glass counter. And said “happy?” “Happy!” In a passive aggressive, borderline aggressive manger and slightly waved his hands. Just rude and disgusting treatment from a bunch of scammers. Won’t step foot in this store ever again. Firstly not allowing a refund, which is against consumer rights, secondly trying to lie to us about the price of a product, thirdly tried to insult our intelligence by assuming we cannot read numbers, then fourth, treating my partner with passive aggression and attitude for claiming his product. Items are very overpriced anyways. My partner did not deserve that.
