Situated on Cheriton Hill, you can park your car at the view point on Crete Road and you are on the top of the horse. Looking down you can see the Folkestone Tunnel Terminal. For a good sight of the horse we walked down the hill. Walking boots recommended. Beautiful views all around.

Parked on the road above, in a decent-sized layby, probably enough room for 10 cars. Entered the area through the gate with my son and wandered down the steep bank. If the ground has any moisture then it's going to be slippy, so a dry day would be best for this route! We went slightly lower than the horse to get a decent view and then wandered around it to get a close-up view. It's a great design but is obscured from the M20 by the Euro Tunnel complex.

Didn't see the white horse because its not visible from the car park above, unless you scramble down the slope. Probably can only otherwise be seen from the shuttle terminal, as the terminal forms a large visual barrier from Folkestone.
