So incredibly brill for a small venue. A great night out! I just wish they ran all year. Acts vary from ones you will have seen on the TV to new people starting out (a good mix). The crowd is a good one with very little heckling. Tickets sell very fast (you need to book in advance) and there's a show a month (it stops for summer). Season tickets are available but again they sell very fast. prices are a bargain or such a good evening out. Drinks and snacks prices are also very fair and you have a couple of intervals. The dashing (about) compere Dan Atkinson is a superb talent in himself and regularly has us all rolling about as he remembers every detail of the regulars quirks (on occasions going back a fair while) and always selects a couple of new people to make comfortable for their first night!! Seriously if you are new you have to sit right at the front to really appreciate just how much of a laugh it can be. The venue is retro - as is Dan's suit! All I can say is all the regulars wish it ran through the summer.
