I joined AK Health & Fitness/Folkestone Boot Camps in September 2022, hoping to shift some post-baby weight and to improve my physical and mental health. The early start is perfect for my daily routine, it’s a great way to get active and motivated in the morning before nursery drop-off. I feel firmer and healthier with increased energy to chase my toddler. Plus, I have lost weight without maintaining a strict diet. This has been a brilliant experience - a boot camp run by a real expert in a great location. It’s not macho or competitive, just Andy with his great mixture of support and challenge, helping you to do the best you can. In six weeks I’ve lost half a stone, and can get into clothes I’d given up on. It’s a really friendly group to train with, and you can work at whatever pace and level you can manage. You can do a free trial to see what it’s like, so there’s nothing to lose.

I really didn't think an early morning workout would be for me but I actually really enjoy it and it doesn't interfere with the rest of the day. It's a really nice, friendly group at different fitness levels, Andy manages to push every one of us to do their personal best. I'm feeling like I'm getting stronger and less achy already. Andy is so supportive throughout the sessions, giving you the confidence and motivation to keep going!
