Personally I love Anthony Gormley’s work - and so I was delighted to find this statue beneath Folkestone Harbour Arm, looking out towards Dover. Another Time 1999-2013 is a series of one hundred solid cast-iron figures, destined to be dispersed around the world. The artist intends them to “bear witness to what it is like to be alive and alone in space and time” and to “celebrate the still and silent nature of sculpture. The work is designed to be placed within the flow of lived time.” Great to stand alone and contemplate for a few minutes.

Very similar to all the other Anthony Gormley statues I have seen at seaside towns.
