Their current Vice Principal used to be my teacher at the John Roan School in London. I forwarded my concerns about him to Folkestone Academy as well as uploading posts about my experience with him onto my Instagram and Facebook pages. They refused to look into my concerns and threatened to sue me for defamation if I did not remove my posts. They then sent out letters claiming that my 'historical allegations' had been 'fully investigated' and that they were 'proven' to be false despite FA stating themselves that they would not do an internal investigation. I They made it clear to me in the letter that they sent me that their primary concern is their reputation rather than the welfare of their pupils. I would not recommend this school as a safe environment for vulnerable female students. If I could give this school zero stars for the way that they have treated me I would.
