  I needed a trailer and had no room to store a non-folding trailer and come across the Foldy trailer. It’s a great piece of kit and fits in my garage with plenty of room for all my other stuff too.

  Foldy trailer is a game changer! Living on a houseboat and building large wooden projects for the school I work for and others transporting them has always been an issue. Where we live you cannot store standard trailer but now having one that folds up and can be wheeled down the tow path to our mooring makes life so much easier. It’s such a versatile piece of kit that not only can we use it for my burgeoning business, it’ll be great for family camping trips or a quick trip to the tip. The customer service is fantastic we rocked up to collect it will given a full demonstration of how to fold it up and load it onto the moving trolley. Stefan was happy and patient to answer all our questions and fit a numberplate for us he even sorted the refund for the power adapter I had ordered that we did not need. I highly recommend this trailer and this company. Both have surpassed my high expectations.

  I have now owned this product for 1 year. I am pleased to say it has been an amazing product that has been well engineered and thought through. I bought this product due to the fact I can not store a full size conventional trailer on my property and keep it secure against theft etc. So, I looked into this product which could be folded up and stored somewhere out of sight. This product was the only one I could find in the country that met my criteria. I bought mine with the extension sides, spare wheel, tarp and 2 sets of the rails as I mostly transport sheet materials such as plywood and OSB as part of my hobby. I have used this trailer for transporting timber products, hardcore, camping equipment and vast amounts of stone/concrete paving slabs. I have also had all the sides of to create a flatbed trailer to transport a built log store to another property. It is vey hard wearing and the tie down points on the inside and outside of the trailer provide plenty of secure points. Due to the trailers moderately wide stance it straddles speed bumps well and is hardly noticeable on the back of the car. After all is done at the end of the day it folds upright and takes up so little space I am amazed. I bought my trailer during the first pandemic lockdown and was still surprised to find it arrived within 3 days on a relatively small pallet. All the accessories were bundled within the footprint of the trailers pallet. I had a few issues at the start with the product which later turned out to be a fault with the car. The Foldy team provided me with tonnes of support and was on a phone call away whilst trying to fault find the issues. I was in contact with the team for some time and I was even sent an email about 6 months down the line to see how I was getting on with the product; seeing if I had any issues or any feedback which they could improve the product on. All in, I would say again this is an excellent product and would recommend to anyone!

  It was our intention to embark on the first of many camping adventures during 2020. This will no doubt mean the purchase of a considerable quantity of equipment so that we can set up our home in the middle of a field. To this end it is important that any trailer purchased must not only carry the equipment but also be stow-able when not in use back home. The Foldy Trailer was discovered after weeks of scouring the internet and chosen as "the trailer of choice" because it ticked every box. It is a piece of engineering excellence and the designers should be awarded for their attention to detail. I purchased the extra side wall extensions because when we go camping we mean business and "you name it" and it will be going with us. Every component piece, which makes up the trailer structure, is galvanised and the quality of the welding is exemplary. When it came, although it was mummified in more cling film than a cling film shop, the plastic wallet, the instruction manual was in, was not as water tight and the manual got soaked. However, a simple email to the Foldy Trailer crew and a NEW Manual was dispatched out to me. I can also remember contacting them early 2019 before I even made my purchase, as regards which type of connection I would need when I got my towing bar fitted to my 9-seater mini bus, 7 or 13 pin? I was given the correct advice and now, some 6 months later it is all fitted complete with the modern 13 pin plug. The company which fitted it did it in Leeds Bradford Airport Car Park whilst I was over in Belfast where I have been working for the last 3 years. If you are unsure as to what it is you want then give FOLDY a ring, they are all there to help. 2020, however, was a year to forget for everyone on the planet and our plans are now centred around 2021. We bought our 10-Berth tent at the NEC in February of last year and during the course of the year purchased folding chairs, inflatable settees, collapsible bunk beds, folding tables, kitchen units and wardrobes. These will be transported in this trailer and we are as ready as we can be. This trailer is "special" and we do not intend using it to take rubbish to the tip, the quality is too good. I have included a real life photo of how much this trailer stores out of the way to the side of my garage behind my stuff. Everyone has stuff. The extra side panels I purchase are located to the right of the trailer but look how perfectly it fits against the wall and how lucky I was for the fittings of the trailer to "just miss" my garage door roller guide rail.

  We have a van but wanted an open-topped way to transport larger awkward items. I saw a trailer locally but there was a three-month waiting list. Whilst considering our options, we continued our online search where we found Foldy. We didn’t even know a folding trailer existed. So we changed our plan and bought the Foldy trailer. The chassis was important and has been very sturdy and has great robust fastenings around the trailer. It’s been well used for tip runs, collecting wood, stone, and bricks for our landscape project for the garden. We’ve dug up and got rid of 23 tree stumps and when moving house, did several 160 miles round trip with the trailer. The trailer itself is wonderful, it folds up to nothing in the garage, easy to get out, lovely design. I would certainly recommend, both the company and product.
