Ironic that one of the clubs values is ‘inclusivity’ yet the two women at the door on Sunday expressed to us nothing but hate. I’ve been to queer parties around the world, and this is the least inclusive (towards straight allies) that I’ve ever seen.

I went to this club last Sunday and it was great, there was this security guy upstairs, he was very friendly, funny he was dancing with us, he had a lot of tattoos on his arms and neck, I will be going there again.

Good music, great venue, but cannot say the same for the people at the door as l faced my first discrimination in London. I went there with 2 friends only one of who (who dress queer) was let in, but all of us are gays and l guess the way someone dresses doesn’t mean being less or more queer… so sad that this was a place l enjoyed and thought a safe space. P.S, none of us was in the guestlist but when only one of us is taken in and the other two aren’t taken then this only means pure discrimination to me, sad to see a queer place is doing this, but l guess even among us there are discriminators. If you don’t dress the way they want (which they don’t define on their website), be careful making all the way there as they may just discriminate you at the door…

This review is mostly for the two people at the door who discriminated me and my other friend, while allowing one of my friends to go in (We were three friends, and all of us are gays and the friend who made in was excited and never been there asked me to take him). Other than that, the music is good, people inside are friendly and much more inclusive. A word of caution for people who want to go there, especially if they live far away. Be ready not to be taken in if you don't have visible piercings tattoos or did not dress queer enough (lol yes, they decide ur queerness based on the way you dress with their biased set of thoughts). At the door, she said whether we were in the guestlist, apparently none of us was in the guestlist, but my friend who dressed more queer and had piercings made in. While we were told not today.

Have been visiting Fold fairly regularly long before some of the newer staff running the door were even hired. Super rude and condescending after arriving with some friends from abroad. Sure we weren’t kitted out in black leather but there’s no dresscode and this is London not Berlin. We came last minute for a Sunday dance having seen on Instagram that it wasn’t too busy. I won’t be making the trip again.

Misgendering people on the door, from security and Fold staff, no apologies made and deeply arrogant about it when challenged. Not something you should expect anywhere, let alone a place like this. Had to leave due to it being extremely triggering.
