Just bought my first pair a binoculars. 'Titch' was patient and made sure I got the best ones for me (not the most expensive). It was quite busy, and Titch took his time with every customer and obviously really knows his stuff. I highly recommend Focalpoint optics and hopefully will be back for an upgrade soon. Thanks again!

Uncomfortable Feedback
Untrustworthy and Deceitful Yes – this is a negative review.. Unlike other negative reviews however, I can assure you that I’ve given the Focalpoint Optics team (namely Yvonne Longley) every possible opportunity to remedy the situation. My patience has bordered on saint hood! My experience with Focalpoint Optics began back in August 2021, when I ordered a Celestron 3X magnification Barlow lens (£119, and not including VAT and delivery!). What I received in early September however was a Celestron X2 Barlow (not a big issue, but I wasn’t prepared to keep it as I already had a Celestron X2 Barlow). Focalpoint to their credit were quick to admit the fault very quickly (when i emailed them to let them know there had been an error), and they offered me the option of either a refund or an exchange (when the X3 Barlow came back into stock) – I opted for the exchange. OK, it’s now April 2022, 8 months waiting – and still no X3 Barlow. Though I’ve had several exchanges with the Focalpoint’s team over these past 8 months, all very cordial, my last exchange with Yvonne @Focalpointopticsltd was on March 12th 2022, informing me that they had received new stock and that a 3X Barlow would be dispatched on Wednesday 16th March. Guess what? Its been 4 weeks since that email and the promise of delivery, and I still haven’t received anything. Despite emailing Yvonne Longley directly and the main contact email at Focalpoint Optics Ltd – I’ve been ignored. I’ve also learnt that their website ‘customer review’ section is curated. I’ve tried to leave my own feedback on their website but it appears they choose not to publish it. No wonder all their reviews are all 4 and 5 star, they wont let anyone publish a review lower than 4 out of 5 stars! Those of you reading this will either laugh at my naivety, or applaud my patience. As it is unlikely I will ever get the exchange they promised me, or a refund (I guess it really is too long), I can only warn those of you who are looking at feedback for Focalpoint Optics LTD – to choose someone else. There are cheaper and far more reliable businesses that supply astronomy and optical equipment in the UK (FLO, Rother Valley Optics, PicStop..). Don’t purchase from this company unless you can afford to lose your money. @FocalpointOpticsLtd - you know how you can correct this, please either refund me or send me the X3 Barlow lens as promised. I'll also happily remove or amend this review if its all been a simply mistake. If anyone is still reading this, it means FocalpoinOpticsLtd has decided to renege on their earlier promise of exchanging incorrectly fulfilled items and are only interested in taking your money.
