We seem to be plagued by flies in the summer and have tried just about every fly prevention tip out there, including various types of door screens. Several years ago, we came across Flyscreen Queen on the internet and purchased a hinged flyscreen for our back door. It was the best thing we’ve ever done, and we went on to order one for every window in the house too. To order, you simply measure your window and pick the kit nearest the size of your window. It arrives pretty quickly and the only tools you’ll need to assemble are a hacksaw, pair of scissors, and a rubber mallet. The kit comprises of instructions 4 rubber corners, lengths of metal for the top, bottom, and sides of the frame, magnetic catches, plastic handles and hinges, rubber beading, and the window netting (which comes in white and black – we chose black and it blends in with the natural environment so you really don’t notice it’s there. It's pretty easy to put together by cutting the metal sides to the length required to make the frame, cutting your netting slightly bigger, and fix with the rubber beading. You then fix the hinges, handles, and magnetic catches to your actual window frames, and it’s there. So many visitors to our house have commented on them and asked for details, so I decided to add my review here too. If you’re bothered by flies, spiders, moths, and dragonflies, then this might be the solution.

I purchased the bifold extendable screen and had it shipped to Switzerland at a total cost of almost 750 euros. The screen arrived in good condition and the service people (Dee) was very helpful and prompt to answer my questions. The problem was the screen quality, after installing professionally the screen when in open position would sag in the middle. After many calls they refused to admit that it was defective or offer any replacement solution. Overpriced and under quality standards.

I have, now fitted eight magnetic flyscreens for windows in my house. They are affordable and very easy to put together. Beats all other I have used over a few years by a mile. They are delivered promptly, the customer service is brilliant too. Highly recommend to anyone My elderly mother so impressed I have put two more up for her in her bedroom.
