A fantastic experience from start to finish. My partner bought me the voucher for my 50th birthday and the booking process was easy. Communication from that point in was excellent. Hugo and his team were knowledgeable and so, so pleasant. They were chatty and informative and looked like they wanted to be there. Everything was explained. The views were stunning, we got to fly right over Montacute House, a whole new perspective! It was such a buzz and all before breakfast 😃Thank you to everyone at Fly Away Ballooning, I can’t wait to come back

Omg what an amazing experience! This was gifted to me as a birthday present. This review outlines my personal experience. I would do it again with them in a heartbeat. I was VERY nervous before take off because it was out of my comfort zone, but as soon as the balloon started rising all my fears left me completely. The team are so friendly. Hugo the pilot is a complete natural at what he does and this makes you feel very safe and at ease, no matter how high in the air you are! The views are spectacular! It is so quiet and relaxing up there. Hugo used the word, zen like, and that perfectly describes how it makes you feel up there. The basket had a door so easy peasey, we just walked in and they closed and secured it. Didn't need to climb in. At the end of the flight, Hugo, the pilot, found a good spot to land, where we were met by the other members of the team who drove there to meet us. We then all helped putting the balloon away (you are not obliged to help, you can if you want to), and the team then drove us back to the original spot where we took off which was brilliant. Had a cheeky gin and tonic courtesy of the company at the end. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend Fly Away Ballooning 100%. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience.

What an incredible experience! It was mom's 70th birthday and all she has ever wanted to do was go in a hot air balloon. Well Hugo and Ali were absolutely amazing !!! So professional so friendly. Would highly recommend Fly Away Ballooning for making dreams come true.

We had the most wonderful trip with Hugo this morning - amazing views, fantastic knowledge about where we were and everything around us. We took 2 children ages 6and 9 who loved it- and Hugo is so experienced and reassuring they didn’t even bat an eyelid! One of the most amazing ways to spend an early morning- can’t recommend highly enough .

Wow! Didn’t expect to fly yesterday as the weather was awful the day before. Hugo kept us upto date with plans throughout the evening then very early in the morning. Helping to set the balloon up just adds to the experience, but as others have said you’re not expected to help! Taking off was so gentle, up over our local area made the flight interesting as we could spot houses we knew, fields we walk the dogs in and my work place. Highlight of the flight was popping up through the clouds, WOW. Coming from an aviation/meteorological background it was breathtaking when we popped above the clouds, passing through and seeing them from above was just incredible. Everything seemed to go even slower above & the sun was so bright. Our journey continued over the village I spent my teenage years in and the church where we married, all totally by chance. Watching the wildlife scurry about in the early hours just another added bonus. The landing was interesting, first time I’ve landed on the back of the basket in a field of cows! Topped of with a glass of iced cider really made the whole experience something to remember for a long time. Definitely recommend flying with Hugo & Ali. Thank you guys.
