What an amazing skill and art to learn!! The workshop I attended was beautifully set up in a lovely environment by Jessica, who is so friendly. I throughly enjoyed the Saturday morning course learning modern calligraphy techniques. The workshop provided all the necessary equipment and some really great little gifts to keep. We finished off the class learning to write names and words in the beautiful form of the more modern calligraphy. The time went so quick, and the hot beverages with cakes were also great to enjoy. I really can’t wait to continue practising this fabulous writing technique. I would defiantly recommend having a go at calligraphy, and the modern calligraphy workshop by Jessica is the perfect place to start learning the new skill!!

I went to a Fluid Calligraphy beginners course with Jess in October and am now hooked. It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning. The course was well organised with a packed lesson plan and plenty of materials for both the lesson and to continue at home. The attendees were of varying competency, mostly beginners with a few improvers, all of whom worked at differing levels and speeds but were all catered for with group and individual attention and patience from Jess throughout the morning paying particular attention to ensure each person had the correct posture and paper placement. The tools needed for the class - a pot of ink, nib, pen and pen holder were delightfully presented in a beautifully lettered bag which was a thoughtful touch. The only disappointment is that there is no follow up class to take my new found hobby to the next level.

Wow ! What a stimulating yet relaxing morning I spent at this workshop .Having always enjoyed writing ,I was shocked at just how much I loved learning the history and practicing the calligraphy lettering exercises. So absorbing and exacting yet with huge scope for creativity and use for a wide range of projects .Jessica was a friendly and knowledgeable presenter with a calming style ...I wish I could've bottled that .! I really treasure the products included in our 'party packs ' and have all that I need to start my Christmas card designs .Thank you to all the lovely ladies who I met ..here's to the next one !!please note. .my computer is picking up Jessica's internet next door ! But this review is from me and not Jessica !!!

Jess has a lovely calm teaching style that allows her to convey her art in a very clear way. She had prepared meticulously for the workshop so I was clear from the outset what and how I would learn. Jessica is incredibly talented. Her service was amazing and the calligraphy on our wedding invitations was absolutely stunning. We loved it so much we were sad to send them out! I could not recommend her enough to anyone looking to add a bespoke touch. So far everyone that has received an invite has commented on how beautiful they look.
